Schoolgirl Zombie Handmade Card

Halloween is just around the corner and it is time for cards that feature ghosts, witches, and zombies.

This card features the digital stamp/sentiment "Schoolgirl Zombie" from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers and die-cut the sentiment. The background is "Foggy Night" digital paper that comes with the Crow's Roost digital stamp.

This girl and sentiment could really be used for many different occasions, but it is perfect for a Halloween card.

I will enter this card in the following challenge:

Handmade Pig Latin Card

Click on the picture to enlarge.
Ellohay!

I found this pig who speaks Pig Latin at Mo's Digital Pencil. The digital stamp/sentiment is named "Hello Pig".

The base for this card is a light pink blank card that measures 5" by 6.5".

I merged the image and the sentiment with Microsoft Word. I also merged a hill for the pig to stand on. The hill image was an exclusive image for members of Maurie Manning's Patreon supporters. I printed the layout on white cardstock and colored the pig with Copic Sketch markers and Promarkers.

I used a piece of black cardstock for the background. I attached the die-cut "hello" above the pig's head.

This clean and simple card would make a cute masculine birthday card. It is sure to put a smile on the recipient's face.

Handmade Mermaid Meeya Birthday Card

A is a summer birthday card that I made this week.

The base is a blank kraft cardstock card (Recollections)that measures 5" by 6 1/2". I bought several packages of these blank cards at Michaels during an after-Christmas clearance sale. There is a narrow red-striped edge around the border of the card.

I chose the digital stamp/sentiment "Meeya" from Mo's Digital Pencil to feature on the card. I used Microsoft Word to resize the image and merge the sentiment with the image. I printed the image on white cardstock and colored it with Copic Sketch markers. Please see the video below to see my coloring process.

I used a Spellbinders die to cut out the colored image/sentiment and attached it to the ocean digital paper designed by Mo Manning. I used a paper punch to make the waves along the top of the ocean patterned paper. I attached this to a piece of teal cardstock and then used double-sided tape to attach the card front to the blank card.

Heaven's Dew and Earth's Richness

May God give you heaven's dew and earth's richness. Genesis 27:28.

I will use this card as a birthday card.

The base of the card is a blank Strathmore card that measures 5" by 7".

I chose the digital stamp/sentiment "Bounty" from Mo's Digital Pencil to feature on the front of this card. I used Canva to size and merge the image and sentiment. The hill is an element that Maurie Manning offered her Patreon supporters. I printed the image on white cardstock with my HP Photo Printer and Instant Ink. I hand-colored the image with Copic Sketch markers and Winsor & Newton Promarkers/Brush Markers. I love to mix and match my alcohol markers. I cut/embossed the image with a Spellbinders die in my die cutting machine. I mounted the image on a piece of back cardstock.

The background is a Yellow Dandelion paper. This paper was offered to Maurie Manning's Patreon supporters. I love to print digital papers on my home printer and I never run out of ink.

I embellished the card with some brown ribbon with white stitches (Stampin' Up). I then used the Spellbinder's Floral Corner 2 die to make the yellow embellishments around the corners of the image. I added three bright yellow paper flowers from my stash.

I matted the image on a piece of dark brown cardstock and then attached it to the white Strathmore card.

I made this card featuring a sweet little girl holding a bouquet of dandelions.

In the words of A.A. Milne..."Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them."

The base of this card is a blank Strathmore card that measures 5" by 7".

I chose the digital stamp "Dandelions!" to feature on this card. This image was designed by Maurie Manning and was pre-released to the members of her Patreon supporters. It will soon be available in her online store - Mo's Digital Pencil.

I printed the image on white cardstock with my HP Photo Printer and Instant Ink. I hand-colored the image with Copic Sketch markers and Winsor & Newton Promarkers/Brush markers. I love to mix and match my alcohol markers.

I used a pierced circle die to cut out the image with my die cutting machine. I mounted the image on a black scalloped circle die cut. I used the die "Fence Picket & Gate by Stu Kilgour" (Thick Cuts) by Ellison Design for the fence along the bottom of the card.

The background paper is Dandelion Digital Paper by Maurie Manning. This paper was offered to her Patreon supporters.

A Rose Anniversary Card

I am wishing my daughter Cindy and her husband Scott a happy wedding anniversary today. I sent them this card to help celebrate their special day.

This is how I made the card:

I started with a blank kraft greeting card that measures 5" by 6 1/2".

The background design is a digital paper from "Love is Chic Printable Journal Kit" by Ephemera's Vintage Garden on Etsy. I used two different pages and die-cut the scalloped edge.

I printed the paper on cardstock using my  HP Envy Photo 7855 Printer and the HP Instant Ink Program. I love to print lovely digital paper in my printer and never have to worry about running out of ink. Click on my link for a FREE one month trial!

I chose the digital stamp "A Rose" from Mo's Digital Pencil. I printed the image on white cardstock and used alcohol markers to color it (Copic sketch markers and Promarkers). I used a Spellbinders die to cut/emboss the image.

I used the sentiment "A special kind of love" from the Digital Collage Sheet Love and Valentine Words and Phrases from LisasAlteredArt on Etsy.

Little Witches Halloween Cards

Maurie Manning released two little witch digital stamps for the 2017 Halloween season.

The image on the left is "Little Witch Henrietta."  This digi set came with two sentiments; "Boo" and "Witching you a happy Halloween."

The base for this project is a blank 4.25" by 5.5" kraft card. (A2)

I printed the digital image and sentiment on white cardstsock and colored the image with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and Gamsol.

I used some orange and aqua patterned paper from the Que Sera Sera paper pad from K and Company. I embellished the card with a piece of lavender curling ribbon.

The second little witch digital stamp is "Little Witch Wendolyn." This digi set came with three sentiments; "Bewitching!", "You're Invited!" and "Bring Your Own Broom."

I used a blank A2 size kraft card as the base for this project.

I printed the digital stamp and sentiment on a piece of white cardstock that was die-cut with a stitched rectangle die. I colored the image with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and Gamsol. I highlighted the hair, flowers and patches with bright-colored gel pens. I embellished the card with a floral die cut.

The background paper is from the Que Sera Sera paper pack by K and Company.

I enjoyed making these cards and I think they turned out super cute. I wish you a happy and safe Halloween!
