Momo the Clown Handmade Card

Click on photo to enlarge.
Isn't this a cute little clown?
He is a little shy and not the least bit scary.

I made this handmade card featuring the digital stamp/sentiment "Momo" from Mo's Digital Pencil.

The background is a page from the "Garden Carnival Journal Kit" from Ephemera's Garden on Etsy. I printed this digital paper on textured watercolor paper.

I colored the clown with alcohol markers and Prismacolor Premier pencils.

I mounted the sentiment on black paper and put it at the top of the card. I die cut the clown image and embellished it with some dots and swirls stickers.

The finished size of this card is 5" by 6.5".

I will enter this card in the following challenge:

Handmade Pig Latin Card

Click on the picture to enlarge.
Ellohay!

I found this pig who speaks Pig Latin at Mo's Digital Pencil. The digital stamp/sentiment is named "Hello Pig".

The base for this card is a light pink blank card that measures 5" by 6.5".

I merged the image and the sentiment with Microsoft Word. I also merged a hill for the pig to stand on. The hill image was an exclusive image for members of Maurie Manning's Patreon supporters. I printed the layout on white cardstock and colored the pig with Copic Sketch markers and Promarkers.

I used a piece of black cardstock for the background. I attached the die-cut "hello" above the pig's head.

This clean and simple card would make a cute masculine birthday card. It is sure to put a smile on the recipient's face.

I will enter this card in the following challenge;

Cat's in the Christmas Tree Holiday Card

This mischievous cat is holding on for dear life. This card is bound to bring a smile and giggle to it's recipient.

I made the card with the following materials:

A blank dark green card from Recollections that measures 5" by 6 1/2".

A background piece of snowflake cardstock from the "Holiday Glitter Book" paper pack from My Mind's Eye (2009).

The digital stamp "Cat's in the Christmas Tree" from Mo's Digital Pencil. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers and cut it out with a Spellbinders die. I added some shine to the star and ornaments with my clear Wink of Stella pen.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts Christmas Sentiments #CL722 (2014) clear stamps.

I embellished the card with a piece of green ribbon and a bow. I tied the ribbon around the card first and then made the bow with my Bow-Easy template and stuck it in place with a glue dot.

Abominable Snowman Holiday Card

The weather outside is frightful, but this cute Abominable Snowman is cozy warm in his Christmas scarf and hat.

I used the following materials to make this card;

A blank kraft card that measures 4" by 5 1/2".

Background striped patterned paper from "Christmas Cheer" paper pack by Provo Craft.

The Abominable Snowman clear stamp and tree from the "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" set by Inkadinkado. (#60-31358) I colored the snowman with Copic Sketch markers and stamped the tree with Tim Holtz "Forest Moss" Distress Ink.

I stamped the "Let it Snow" sentiment with a Recollections rubber stamp.
(#115464)

I used a Zig Real Brush Clean Color marker to watercolor the sky background.

I punched the snowflakes and added some sparkle with my Clear Wink of Stella pen.

Tall Cake Birthday Card

Have you ever seen a birthday cake like this one?
I made this card for Mo's Challenge #195 - Kraft Paper.

I printed out the "Tall Cake" digital stamp on brown kraft paper. I colored the image with Prismacolor pensils.

I used Spellbinders dies to frame the image and attached it to a piece of pretty turquoise patterned paper.

I embellished the card with some pink/white baker's twine and used a blank kraft card as a base.

When I first started making cards, I used colored pencils all the time. A couple of years ago I started using markers so I am a little rusty with the pencils.

I See Spots Greeting Card

Today I made a handmade greeting card for Mo's Challenge #130 - I See Spots w/Mo image. The card must have some round shapes or dots on it. I found some background paper with blue/brown dots. I also used an image with a round chocolate chip cookie on it.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a pre-made kraft card that measures 4" by 5 1/2".
(2.) I chose "Baby Boy/Stripe" patterned paper from Heidi Grace Designs (Fiskars) for the background.
(3.) I used the digital stamp "Bronte and Louis" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I printed the image on kraft cardstock and used a Nestabilities die to cut it out. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. I highlighted the image with a black gel pen and a white gel pen. I used the white gel pen to make some faux stitches around the edge of the image.
(4.) I embellished the card with a "Smile" chipboard sticker and two punched paper flowers.

This is the second week that I have used a non-traditional hair color. This week I made the hair black with blue highlights. What do you think?
