Smell the Flowers Birthday Card

Click on this picture to enlarge.

Don't you love the expression on this man's face? I feel like am smelling the flowing right along with him.

This handmade card features the digital stamp "Wrinkles" designed by Maurie J. Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil.

 The ground cover is the digital stamp "Daisies" that was also designed by Ms. Manning. Both of these images were available to supporters on Patreon.

I merged the images/sentiment with Microsoft Word. I then colored the images with Copic Sketch markers. I embellished the card with cloud die-cuts.

I plan on entering this card in the following challenge;

Mo's Digital Challenge #304

Handmade Dreamer Birthday Card

This little guy is dreaming about far away places with strange sounding names.

I made this card with the digital image "Dream." I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers and cut it out. I used a piece of antique map patterned paper from a Tim Holtz paper pad.

I used a Spellbinders die to cut the border in the black background paper.

I embellished the card with a piece of baker's twine and a "Dream" jelly sticker from Me & My Big Ideas.

I am entering this card in Mo's Challenge #217 - "Something New." This is the first time I have colored and used this digital stamp in a crafts project.

Thank you for taking a look at my card. Please share your thoughts in the Comments Section below.

Mr. Fixit Birthday Card

This is a birthday card for a family member who is very handy around the house. I am entering this card in "Challenge #171 - Anything Goes w/Mo Image." The only rule is that I must use a digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank kraft card that measures 5" by 7".
(2.) I used a piece of patterned paper that looks like sandpaper with twine tied around it (Zig Zag Jute, Rebecca Sower designs) for the background.
(3.) I used the digital image "Mr. Fixit" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers. I used a brush to color the blue background with Tim Holtz distress ink.
(4.) I mounted the image to a piece of black cardstock and then layered a piece of torn cardboard and a piece of burlap fabric behind the image.
(5.) I used foam squares to mount the image to the card. I used a small red paperclip to attach a Tim Holtz "Wish" ticket to the card.
(6.) I embellished the card with a raffia bow.

Happy Birthday, Computer Guy!

My nephew, Kyle Crane, is celebrating his 20th birthday today. He is a college student and an awesome musician and computer guy! I wish Kyle a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY and a great day of celebrating and fun.

I will be entering this birthday card in Mo's Challenge #140 - "Masculine" w/Mo Image.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank white card that measures 5" by 6 1/2".
(2.) The background is Recollections "Rockets 'n' Sprockets" and solid coral Bazzill cardstock.
(3.) I used the digital image "Computer Guy" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers and mounted it on a piece of kraft cardstock.
(4.) I used the Cuddlebug "Embossed Tags" embossing folder to make the tag from kraft cardstock. I used "Daisyd's" letters to write the name "Kyle" on the tag. I attached the tag to the card with a flower-shaped brad.
(5.) I embellished the card with cupcake and candy stickers from Jolees.
