April showers bring May flowers.
"Count your rainbows, not your thunderstorms". Alyssa Knight
This is how I made this card:
1. I started with a blank kraft cardstock card that measures 5" by 7".
2. I took a piece brown distressed patterned paper from the "Ki Vintage Charm Paper Pad" (2012, Hampton Art).
3. I dry embossed (Cuddlebug) the patterned paper with a "Frame w/Rooster" embossing folder (Sizzix, #658970).
4. The sentiment is part of the "Friendly Advice - #99181" clear stamp set from Inkadinkado. I stamped it on the embossed cardstock with Ranger black archival ink.
5. I embellished the embossed cardstock with a rainbow sticker and two small flower stickers (The 60s Stkr - Paper Studio). The "Life Lessons" sticker is from Splash of Color.
6. I attached the decorated embossed cardstock to the blank card.
I will enter this card in the following paper crafts challenge;

Mo's "Things With Wings" Card Challenge
This is the first time I have made a handmade card in several weeks. I will enter this card in "Mo's Challenge #180 - Things With Wings".
This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank kraft card that measures 4" by 5 1/2".
(2.) I used the Flowers border die from the Sizzix Dots, Flowers & Rick-Rack Set of embossing folders for the embossed flowers on the side of the card. I ran the card and die through my Cuddlebug machine. I rounded the corners on the right side of the card.
(3.) I chose a digital image from Mo's 3 Baby Fairies set. This set has some awesome images for Spring! I colored the image with Copic sketch markers and added highlights with a white gel pen.
(4.) I embellished the card with a felt cloud die cut from a Hobby Lobby Easter set, a "Smile" sentiment sticker from K & Co. and a pink glitter heart from Martha Stewart.

Handmade St. Patrick's Day Card
St. Patrick's Day, although not a legal holiday anywhere in the United States, is nonetheless widely recognized and celebrated throughout the country. It is primarily celebrated as a celebration of Irish and Irish American culture; celebrations include prominent displays of the color green, feasting, religious observances, and numerous parades. The holiday has been celebrated on the North American continent since the late eighteenth century, prior to the American Revolution.
Today I made a St. Patrick's Day card to enter in Mo's Digital Challenge #125 - Try Something New. This is the very first St. Patrick's Day card that I have made so I think it qualifies as a new experience.
This is how I made the card;
(1.) The base is a pre-made cream-colored card that measures 5" by 6.5".
(2.) I attached a piece of patterned paper with a green shamrock pattern on the front of the card.
(3.) I took two pieces of green cardstock and dry embossed them with the "Swiss Dots" embossing folder and my Cuddlebug.
(4.) I printed out the digital image "Summer Fairy Finna" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers, embellished the wings with Stickles glitter glue and cut it out.
(5.) I punched out some green corner shapes and attached them to the background of the card. I assembled the card with glue dots.
(6.) I embellished the card with three punched butterflies, a piece of "feathered" twine and a Tim Holtz "Adore" ticket.

Happy New Year Card
Today I made a New Year's card to celebrate the coming of 2012. I am entering this card in "Mo's Digital Challenge #114" weekly card making contest. The theme this week is "Punch and/or Dies."
This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank pre-made greeting card that measures 4" by 5.5".
(2.) I made the pink snowflake background with the Cuddlebug "Snowflakes" embossing folder. The Cuddlebug is wonderful for dry embossing and die cuts.
(3.) I used the Spellbinders "Scalloped Oval" dies and ran them through the Cuddlebug. I embossed the white oval after I cut it.
(4.) I used the digital image "2010 Baby Bella and Bronte" from Mo's Digital Pencil Store. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers and embellished the image with a few touches of glitter glue. I have a little red/brown brindle dog named Tiger that looks just like Bronte. I really love the fact that Bronte shows up in many of Mo's images.

Let It Snow!
The air is crisp and cool. It is beginning to look and feel like winter.
I made this "Let It Snow" greeting card for Mo's Digital Challenge #110 ~ "Elves, Fairies, Santa or Snowmen".
I used the Snowman image from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers.
I found a Cuddlebug machine at a garage sale several weeks ago. I am having so much fun cutting shapes and embossing them. I cut the blue background and the white label with a Nestabilities die and the Cuddlebug. I also embossed a strip of white paper with the Cuddlebug "Spots and Dots" embossing folder.
I embellished the card with three epoxy stickers and a light blue ribbon bow.
