I made this card for Mother's Day, but it would be appropriate for many different occasions.
This card features the digital stamp "Delivery" from Maurie J. Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil. This image was a gift to Ms. Manning's Patreon supporters in March 2020.
The garden shed in the background is the digital stamp "Garden Shed BG" from Mo's Digital Pencil.
The "Grow" sign on the shed and the potted plants in front of the shed are elements in the digital stamps "Potter's Corner (Separated)" from Mo's Digital Pencil.
I colored the images on this card with Copic Sketch markers. I die-cut the clouds and grass and attached them to the card front. I then attached the completed design to a turquoise card base.
I will enter this card in the following challenge;
After a long hot summer, it is wonderful to feel a touch of Autumn in the air. The theme for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #105 is "Fave Mo's Image and a Sentiment." The cool weather inspired me to make a greeting card with an Autumn theme. This is how I made the card: (1.) I used a pre-made card for the base. It is cream-colored with light "speckles" and measures 5" by 7". (2.) I used patterned cardstock from a Martha Stewart Crafts Autumn/Halloween Mat Pad for the background. (3.) I embellished the card with a piece of vintage orange ribbon (1" wide). (4.) I used the digital image "Pumpkins" from Mo's Digital Pencil Store. I colored the image with Copics Sketch markers. (5.) I stamped the following sentiment on the lower portion of the card, "As for me and my HOUSE, We will SERVE the LORD." Joshua 24:15
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my handmade greeting card.

A digital stamp in crafting, stamping, card making and scrapbooking is a digital image printed onto paper from the user's printer. Digital stamps come in a variety of formats, including PNG, JPG, and TIFF. Digital stamps offer many advantages over traditional rubber stamps because of their ability to be flipped, resized, rotated and easily stored.
In addition, digital stamps can be printed on a variety of papers and cardstocks, and when properly heat sealed can be used with a variety of coloring mediums including colored pencil, copic markers, even watercolors.
I have been hooked on handmade card making for the past two years. My very favorite source of digital images is Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. Maurie J. Manning is a children's book illustrator who has built a very successful digital image business.
This is the step-by-step process that I use in making cards using a digital image;
I choose an image from my "digital stamps" folder on my computer. I have hundreds of images stored in this folder.
I use Microsoft Word or a picture editor program to size the image and print it on a piece of watercolor paper. This paper is thicker than cardstock and is better for coloring the image with colored pencils.
I color the image with Prismacolor pencils and a blender pen. The blender pen contains a solvent that melts the wax pencil lead so that you can blend the colors together.
I use scrapbooking tape and glue dots to mount the image to cardstock and patterned paper. There are many different layouts that you can use to put the card together.
I embellish the card with ribbon, bows, lace, buttons, etc.
I created this video last night using the Animoto online video service. These are cards that I have made using digital images from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop.
As I watch this video, I think about all my friends who have received these cards on their birthday, wedding anniversary, Valentine's Day, Christmas....or just because I was thinking about them. Card making is a wonderful hobby that allows you to spread joy to those around you. You can get started making handmade cards with supplies that you have around your house. This is a great way to send your love to family and friends.

Jak Heath, a greeting card designer and member of Mo's Digital Pencil Design Team, is sponsoring a fund raiser event for Katie Emmerson Renz. Katie is married to Kevin and they have 3 beautiful boys... the twins Nate & Will aged 5 and Hunter aged 10. Katie and Kevin received some news just before Christmas that has rocked their world as they know it. Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy. Katie is a fellow crafter and is loved within the crafting community. Katie is writing about her fight with cancer on her blog. Jak is asking fellow paper crafters to donate 15 Pounds (Approx. $24.00) to help with medical bills and to help the family with expenses. Everyone who makes a donation will receive a beautiful collection of digital stamps that have been donated by artists and designers. I donated to this cause earlier in the week and I am thrilled with the digital stamps that I received. Many of these images were designed specifically for this fund raiser.
