Christmas in July Handmade Card 2021

This is my first Christmas card for the 2021 holiday season. July is almost over so I thought I had better get started on my Christmas cards.

This card features the PRE-COLORED digital stamp "Ragged Winnie" designed by Maurie J. Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil. I usually color the images myself, but this image is so beautiful that I had to have it. I die-cut the image and red background with a Spellbinders "Fancy Edged Ovals" set.

The background paper and sentiment are from a Tim Holtz Christmas paper pad.

I will enter this card in the following challenge;

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #305

I Need You Emo Goth Halloween Card

This sweet girl is holding a heart in her hands and thinking about someone special. Who is she thinking about? That is a mystery!

This handmade card features the digital stamp "Need You" from Mo's Digital Pencil. I printed the image on white cardstock and colored it with Copic Sketch markers. I then cut it out and attached it to a piece of "Abandoned" cardstock by Tim Holtz.  I used a Tim Holtz Halloween stencil and some distress ink to make the spider webs in the background.

The finished card measures 5" by 6.5".

I will enter this card in the following challenges;

Artsystamper Digitals Challenge #26

Crafting Happiness Challenge #69

Altered Art Halloween Cards from Digital Collage Sheet

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This year I made the following nine Halloween greeting cards using the Digital Collage Sheet, Halloween Witches, ATC, ACEO sized, 2.5 X 3.5, Halloween Children (Sheet no. H39) Instant Download from Lisa's Altered Art Shop on Etsy.

I printed the collage sheet on a piece of matte photo paper that measured 8.5" by 11". I got nine unique pieces of art that each measured 2.5" by 3.5".

I cut out the nine individual cards and covered each one with a thin film of Tim Holtz Distress Glaze. I wiped the glaze off with a piece of paper towel. This product left a beautiful satin finish on the surface of the cards.

I used cardstock from the Tim Holtz Halloween pack (2017) and matching Tim Holtz washi tape. The sentiments are from the Tim Holtz Clippings collection.

I used kraft cardstock for the base that measured 4.25" by 5.5".

You may CLICK on each individual photo to enlarge.

Tim Holtz Mini Rays Greeting Card

This greeting card features the results of a Tim Holtz embossing folder that I purchased last week. The embossing folder "Mini Rays"
came in the "Sizzix BINGO Playing Games Set A2." This image was designed to fit an artist trading card but can also be used on a greeting card.

I started with a blank kraft card that measures 4" by 5 1/2".

I used a piece of patterned paper that features watermelon seeds (Imaginisce #003425) for the background. I used a "Loops" (Martha Stewart) Punch on the corners.

I used the "Mini Rays" embossing folder with a piece of kraft cardstock. I used my Cuddlebug embossing machine to emboss the paper.

I glued (Craft Bond Rubber Cement) the embossed cardstock to the background paper and embellished it with an "Explore" sticker from K & Co.

Thank you for taking a look at my card. I will enter this card in the "Emboss It Challenge" at 365 Cards.

Girl With A Sign Valentine

Valentine's day will be here next week.  I am busy making Valentine cards for all my favorite people.

I will enter this card in Mo's Challenge #170 - Laces and Ribbons. The card must be embellished with lace or ribbon...and use a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank kraft card that measures 4" by 5 1/2".
(2.) I used a piece of red hearts Holographic paper from Recollections for the background. This shiny paper is so pretty.
(3.) I used the digital image "Girl With Sign" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers. I used a cling rubber stamp from the Tim Holtz "Heartfelt" set to print the sentiment on the sign.
(4.) I lightly distressed the edges of the colored image and mounted it on black and pink cardstock.
(5.) I embellished the card with a piece of "Love" ribbon and two rose stickers.

Gingerbread Man Christmas Gift Tag

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I have my tree decorated and about half of my Christmas shopping completed.

Today, I made a Christmas gift tag for Mo's Challenge #162 - Don't Be SQUARE. The card or paper craft item can be any shape EXCEPT square.

This is how I made this gift tag:
(1.) I started with a red stocking-shaped base that measures approx. 3" by 5". I bought a pack of Studio G stocking shaped note cards last year after Christmas. I cut the card apart and just used the front part for this tag.
(2.) I applied some white flocking powder across the top of the stocking.
(3.) I used a piece of red glitter ribbon at the base of the flocked section of the stocking.
(4.) I used glue dots to attach the Tim Holtz "Dream" ticket to the tag.
(5.) I printed out the new Gingerbread Man digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil on coral cardstock. This image is FREE this week only!
(9.) I used a Copic marker to color the shading around the edges of the Gingerbread Man. I used some blue dot stickers for the eyes and buttons. I trimmed the arms and legs with some vintage braided trim. I traced around the edge of the Gingerbread Man image with a white gel pen and colored the inside of his mouth white. I put a little Santa's hat sticker (Jolee) on the top of his head.
(10.) I stamped the background with the pine trees from the Tim Holtz Christmas clear stamp set. I completed the tag with a pretty package sticker and some red ribbon.
