Let Your Light Shine Handmade Card

Let your light shine!

Isn't this the cutest little girl? She really has some attitude.

This will be the last summer-themed card that I make this year. I am anxious to start making cards for the fall/winter holidays.

This card features the digital stamp "Summer" designed by Maurie J. Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil.

This image was given to Ms. Manning's Bronte-level supporters on Patreon.

I printed the digital image on white cardstock and colored it with Copic Sketch markers. I die-cut the colored image and the background with Spellbinder's "Fancy Edged Ovals" dies.

The sentiment is from "Digital Phrase Collage Sheet 9" by Lisa's Altered Art on Etsy. The background paper is from the "Stitch in Time" scrapbook paper pad by Recollections. I embellished the card with some die-cut leaves and flowers.

I will enter this card in the following challenge;

Let Love Grow Handmade Card

Click on the image to enlarge.
This card could be used for Valentine's Day, a spring birthday or just to let someone know you are thinking about them.

I used the digital stamp/image "Let Love Grow" from Mo's Digital Pencil. I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers.
The background digital paper is from "Paris in My Heart Printable Journal Kit" by EphemerasGarden on Etsy.

The base is a blank kraft card that measures 5" by 7". I embellished the card with a piece of red baby rickrack trim.

I will enter this card in the following challenge:

Girl With A Sign Valentine

Valentine's day will be here next week.  I am busy making Valentine cards for all my favorite people.

I will enter this card in Mo's Challenge #170 - Laces and Ribbons. The card must be embellished with lace or ribbon...and use a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank kraft card that measures 4" by 5 1/2".
(2.) I used a piece of red hearts Holographic paper from Recollections for the background. This shiny paper is so pretty.
(3.) I used the digital image "Girl With Sign" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers. I used a cling rubber stamp from the Tim Holtz "Heartfelt" set to print the sentiment on the sign.
(4.) I lightly distressed the edges of the colored image and mounted it on black and pink cardstock.
(5.) I embellished the card with a piece of "Love" ribbon and two rose stickers.

Handmade Valentine Card

Valentines Day is just around the corner. I made a handmade Valentine card for Mo's Digital Challenge #121 - BINGO w/a Mo Image.
This week I was challenged to use the Bingo card below to create a card. The objective was to choose one row...vertical, horizontal, or vertical...and use those elements in the making of a card.
I chose the bottom row of the Bingo card ~ Dies/Punches, Brads and Dry Embossing.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank card made from kraft cardstock. The card measures 5" by 6 1/2".
(2.) I used a piece of Tim Holtz distressed cardstock for the background. I used the Fiskar System to hand emboss a small heart in each corner of the cardstock. I used Tim Holtz distress ink (Barn Door) to highlight each heart.
(3.) I used the image "Sprout" that was Mo Manning's contribution to the "Help for Katie" project. I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers and then used a Fiskars template to cut a circle around the image.
(4.) I used the Nestibilities die "Lacy Circles" to cut a background for the image from Tim Holtz distressed cardstock.
(5.) I cut the letters "L", "O", "V", "E" from a piece of "Holidays" Tim Holtz disstressed cardstock.
(6.) I embellished the card with two pink heart brads (Cricut).

All My Favorite Things

The theme for Mo's Digital Challenge this week is "All My Favorite Things". I love this image of the litte boy/girl getting kisses from the pup.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank pre-made greeting card made from brown kraft cardstock.
(2.) I used the paw prints patterned paper from a "Cats and Dogs" scrapbooking kit that I bought several years ago.
(3.) I used a Nestabilities die to cut and emboss a rectangular piece of coral colored cardstock.
(4.) I used the "Bronte Kisses" digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. This image comes with three sentiments about dogs so I chose the one by Edith Wharjon. It says, "My little dog ~ a heartbeat at my feet." I colored the image with Copic sketch markers. I tried to make Bronte look like my own little brindle "tiger-striped" dog named Tiger.
(5.) I embellished the card with two silver glitter hearts from Martha Stewart and a chipboard paw print sticker.

Thank you for taking a look at my card ~ Please share your thoughts in the Comments Section below.
