Mo's "Anything Goes" Challenge

I want to wish my Aunt Dorothy Nieman a very HAPPY 91st BIRTHDAY!!! I will be getting this card in the mail ASAP so that she will receive it on August 13th.

I made this collage birthday card to enter in Mo's Challenge #147 - "Anything Goes w/Mo Image".

This is how I made the card;

(1.) I started with a blank kraft greeting card that measures 5" by 6 1/2". I chose a coordinated piece of patterned cardstock for the background.

(2.) I used the Cuddlebug "Happy Birthday" folder to dry emboss the shiny silver-tone cardstock with festive birthday words.

(3.) I chose the digital stamp "Bella Carrying the Cake" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers and toned down the white background with pink Pebbles chalk.

(4.) I mounted the image on black cardstock and layered a piece of cardboard and a strip of burlap under it.

(5.) I embellished the card with three flowers that I punched out of cork.

Handmade Birthday Wish Card

Today I made a birthday card for my mother. She will be celebrating her 82th birthday at the end of this week.
I am entering this card in Mo's Challenge #116 ~ Anything Goes with a Mo Image.
The only rule for this card is to use one or more image from Mo's Digital Pencil Store.

This is how I made the card:
(1.) The base is a blank greeting card from kraft cardstock that measures 4" by 5.5".
(2.) I used a piece of patterned cardstock for the background and ran it through my Cuddlebug dry embossing machine with a Tim Holtz "Music Notes" embossing folder.
(3.) I highlighted the notes with some Tim Holtz "Old Paper" Distress Ink.
(4.) I embellished the background with two pieces of adhesive-backed striped ribbon.
(5.) I used Mo's Digital image "Bella Carrying the Cake" and colored it with Copic Sketch markers. I cut the shape with a "Lacey Circles" Nestabilities Die and chalked the background with pink chalk.
(6.) I used a Tim Holtz "Wish Ticket" and a decorative paper flower for the final touches.

Celebrate Card Challenge

This week Mo's Design Team is celebrating Mo's 100th challenge. The theme of the challenge is "Celebrate" and three lucky winners will be chosen at random tonight.

I made this birthday card using the digital image  "Bella Carrying The Cake" from Mo's Digital Pencil Store. I colored the image using Copics Sketch markers.
I distressed the edges of the image with Tim Holtz Distress Ink and stamped the word "Celebrate" at the bottom of the card.
I embellished the card with some flower stickers and a vinage pink ribbon.
