Book Giveaway: Me And My Big Mouth by Joyce Meyer

My book giveaway contest last week was a tremendous success, so we are going to do it again this week.  I am giving away a paperback copy of Me and My Big Mouth: Your Answer is Right Under Your Nose by Joyce Meyer. Is your mouth busy telling about all the troubles in your life?  Does it seem as though your mouth has a mind of its own? This book will show you how to put your mouth on a crash course to victory!
"You and I go through life with an awesome power - like fire or electricity or nuclear energy - right under our noses, one that can produce death or life, depending on how it is used." - Joyce Meyer
Joyce Meyer will show you how to train your mouth to speak words that will put you over in this life.  She emphasizes that speaking the Word of God must be coupled with living a life of complete obedience to the Word of God in order to see the full power of God flowing in your life.

Battlefield Of The Mind Giveaway WINNER

We have a WINNER!  Last week I sponsored a book giveaway to find a new home for Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind by Joyce Meyer.  The contest ran from January 7th until January 14th. This was the biggest book giveaway yet!  Thirty-nine readers left a comment on the post saying they would like to read this book.  I wish I had enough books to give each one of you a copy.
I love to do my drawings the old-fashioned way.  I wrote down numbers 1 - 39 on a piece of paper and cut each number out.  I then folded the numbers and put them in a big bowl.  I mixed them all up and then I said the following prayer, "Lord, please let me pick a person who will read this book and is serious about gaining a closer relationship with you".
I reached in the bowl and pulled out number 36.  I emailed Summer yesterday evening and received the following reply from her this morning, "The reason why I entered is to become closer to God. I think He wants the same thing because I don't win very many giveaways but I have won 4 books so far by Joyce Meyer. I'm very excited about this book."
Congratulations to Summer!  I want to thank each one of you for entering this contest.  Many of you have become followers of this blog and I am just thrilled to have you as part of the family.  You have sent a clear message that you love to read Joyce Meyer books SO.....I will annouce another Joyce Meyer book giveaway tomorrow.  The name of the book in next week's giveaway is Me and My Big Mouth: Your Answer is Right Under Your Nose.  Hope to see you tomorrow!

Book Giveaway: Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer

I am going to give away another great book to celebrate the beginning of a brand new year.
I am giving away a paperback copy of Battlefield of the Mind; Winning the Battle in Your Mind by Joyce Meyer.  This was the first book that Joyce wrote and it is still one of her best selling books.
Joyce Meyer guides you through an honest self-appraisal by sharing the trials, tragedies and ultimate victories of her own marriage, family and ministry - including the truth she learned about what she was thinking and feeling every step of the way.  You'll gain insight into how Joyce won the battle in her own mind and how you can as well.

Book Giveaway: Debbie Macomber Christmas

This week I have two Christmas books that I am going to give away.  The lucky winner should receive these books right after Thanksgiving.  These books will be perfect to read as you prepare for the Christmas season.  If you don't have time to read both books, you might want to share one with a friend.  Debbie Macomber is a very popular author and is known for her realistic, down-home stories.
The first book is Small Town Christmas: Return To Promise\Mail-Order Bride.  This book combines the following two stories;
"Return To Promise" ~ Promise, Texas, is a good place to live with the person you love. When rancher Cal Patterson and his wife Jane face a threat to their marriage, she leaves Promise, the town that's become her home as much as his.  Will Jane be back by Christmas?  Because, for both of them, the greatest gift of all would be her return to Promise.
"Mail Order Bride" ~ Gold River, Alaska, isn't your average town.  After being jilted by her fiance, Caroline Myers ends up there - thanks to her matchmaking aunts, who send her on what appears to be an autumn vacation.  Not surprisingly, they have something different in mind.  Something that involves spending a snowy Christmas in handsome Paul Trevor's home - as his mail-order bride.

The second book that I am giving away is On a Snowy Night: The Christmas Basket\The Snow Bride.  This book has the following two stories;
"The Christmas Basket" ~ More than ten years ago, high-school sweethearts Noelle McDowell and Thomas Sutton planned to elope - but then he jilted her.  This Christmas, Noelle is home to celebrate the holidays, and she and Thom discover they are still in love. Now only the decades-old rivalry between their mothers stands in the way of a second chance together.
"The Snow Bride" ~ It's a month before Christmas and Jenna Campbell is flying to Alaska to marry a man she met on the Internet - until her seatmate takes it upon himself to change her plans.  Which is how Jenna ends up stranded in tiny Snowbound, Alaska, alone with Reid Jamison (plus a bunch of eccentric old men and a few grizzly bears.)  And then there's a blizzard...Maybe she'll be a Christmas bride after all!

The Love Revolution Winner

We Have A Winner!

The winner of The Love Revolution Book Giveaway is Summer from Alabama.  I want to thank each person who entered the contest.  The book is already on the way to it's new home.  I hope Summer will enjoy reading this book as much as I did.
The number of entries and the number of page views for this contest set another record for this blog.  I am delighted that I have found a fun way to re-home some of my favorite books.
Each year I like to read at least one Christmas fiction book between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  On Monday, I will announce a wonderful Christmas book giveaway.  Hint:  Are there any Debbie Macomber fans in the crowd?
Have a great weekend!

Book Giveaway: The Love Revolution

I am really excited about the response to my book giveaways.  I love to read and have tons of books.  I am thrilled to pass these books along to my fellow book lovers.
This week I am giving away a copy of The Love Revolution by Joyce Meyer.  Joyce Meyer has a world-wide Christian ministry and has written dozens of books.  I was really inspired by this book because it challenged me to reach out to others and try to make a difference in their lives.  She said you don't have to do anything big or spectacular.  The little things that you can do everyday have the potential to have a much greater impact than you can imagine.
