I like to do my random drawings the old-fashioned way. I wrote down each name on a piece of paper, cut them out and folded them. I then put them into a hat, mixed them up real good and drew two names out. I contacted each winner and they promptly replied with their shipping addresses.

Delirious? Book Giveaway WINNER

Congratulations to Cristal Coururier! She is the winner of the two Delirious? books that I gave away on Monday, March 28. She won a copy of Delirious: My Journey with the Band, a Growing Family, and an Army of Historymakers and Meet Mrs. Smith: My Adventures with Six Kids, One Rockstar Husband, and a Heart to Fight Poverty. These books have been shipped and are on their way to Indiana.

Battlefield Of The Mind Giveaway WINNER

We have a WINNER!  Last week I sponsored a book giveaway to find a new home for Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind by Joyce Meyer.  The contest ran from January 7th until January 14th. This was the biggest book giveaway yet!  Thirty-nine readers left a comment on the post saying they would like to read this book.  I wish I had enough books to give each one of you a copy.
I love to do my drawings the old-fashioned way.  I wrote down numbers 1 - 39 on a piece of paper and cut each number out.  I then folded the numbers and put them in a big bowl.  I mixed them all up and then I said the following prayer, "Lord, please let me pick a person who will read this book and is serious about gaining a closer relationship with you".
I reached in the bowl and pulled out number 36.  I emailed Summer yesterday evening and received the following reply from her this morning, "The reason why I entered is to become closer to God. I think He wants the same thing because I don't win very many giveaways but I have won 4 books so far by Joyce Meyer. I'm very excited about this book."

The Power Book Winner

We Have A Winner!

Last week, I ran a book giveaway contest for a copy of  The Power, by Rhonda Byrne. Yesterday, I wrote down each entry on a piece of paper, folded the papers and put them in a hat.  I know many people use Random Org  for drawings but I like to do it the old-fashioned way.

The first name I pulled out was LeAnn (lknott) from Iowa.  She answered my email promptly and the book is already on the way to it's new home.  Cogratulations LeAnn!  I want to thank everyone for entering this contest.  There were 19 entries and 4 new followers.  I am very happy with the results of this giveaway and I hope LeAnn enjoys reading this book as much as I did.
