Mr. Fixit Birthday Card

This is a birthday card for a family member who is very handy around the house. I am entering this card in "Challenge #171 - Anything Goes w/Mo Image." The only rule is that I must use a digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop.

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank kraft card that measures 5" by 7".
(2.) I used a piece of patterned paper that looks like sandpaper with twine tied around it (Zig Zag Jute, Rebecca Sower designs) for the background.
(3.) I used the digital image "Mr. Fixit" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers. I used a brush to color the blue background with Tim Holtz distress ink.
(4.) I mounted the image to a piece of black cardstock and then layered a piece of torn cardboard and a piece of burlap fabric behind the image.
(5.) I used foam squares to mount the image to the card. I used a small red paperclip to attach a Tim Holtz "Wish" ticket to the card.
(6.) I embellished the card with a raffia bow.
