Christmas Book Giveaway Winner

We Have A Winner!
On Monday, I held a drawing for two Christmas books by Debbie Macomber. I didn't have as many people participate in this contest but I am very thankful for those who took time to enter. The first name that I drew out of the hat was Susan from Virginia. She sent me her shipping address and the books are on the way to their new home. Happy reading, Susan!
Last Saturday my husband and I traveled to Plantersville to visit the Texas Renaissance Festival. He had never been there and it had been over 20 years since I had attended. It was a nice day and there was a huge crowd at the event. There were many people dressed in old English costumes and they were very entertaining. We saw some great shows....a magician, comedians, whip twirling, wild birds of prey and belly dancers. We ate lunch at a German restaurant that had a little German band. It was a wonderful day and we saw some amazing sights!
I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving! Count your many blessings...name them one by one.

Congrats to Susan of such lovely books!!! Our Thanksgiving was very nice and spent with most our family and friends!!! We watched the new movie Search for Santa Paws earlier in the day. My 4yr old is a dog lover since she was born. She is always acting like a dog one way or another. I can't keep the knees of her pants in good shape. When I put nice pants on her I am constantly policing her to get off her knees so she don't ruin the knees of her good pants! ugh!!!!! So much for handy me down pants from my daughter. If you like the holes in the knee look yall got it made!!! lol
Have a GREAT day!!!
Hugs, Heidi Brawley
