Book Giveaway: The Last Lecture

Randy Pausch was a professor of Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, and Design at Carnegie Mellon University.  Pausch learned that he had pancreatic cancer in September 2006, and in August 2007 he was given a terminal diagnosis: "3 to 6 months of good health left".   Mr. Pausch gave an upbeat lecture entitled "The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams"on September 18, 2007 at Carnegie Mellon, which became a popular YouTube video and led to other media appearances. He then co-authored a book called The Last Lecture on the same theme, which became a New York Times best-seller. Pausch died of complications from pancreatic cancer on July 25, 2008.

I have a hardback copy of this book that I would like to give to one of my blog readers.  I have read this book and it shows some light wear, but it is still in very good condition.  I am going to give this book away at 12:00 noon this Friday, October 15.  All you have to do to enter this contest is to post a comment on this blog post telling me ~ "I want to read the lecture."  That is all there is to it.  I will ship this book to any country in the world so please do not hesitate to enter.  I will have a random drawing on Friday and email you if you are the winner.  If the winner does not email with his/her mailing address by Monday evening, I will choose another name.

This is a very touching and inspiring book.  You can read all the way through it in a couple of hours and you will probably want to read it over several times.  Please don't wait ~ Add your comment on this blog right now so you will be entered in the contest.
