We Want The Truth...and Nothing But the Truth
What is going on with the economy?
Is the American Dream still a alive?
What is the future of the middle class?
Will my retirement years really be golden?
These are just a few of the questions that Dr. Roy Ackerman writes about in this book. He shares his extensive research and personal thoughts about the American economy, government policies and the future of the middle class.
The following facts are presented and elaborated on in this book:
- Baby boomers will NOT have the secure and prosperous retirement that they were planning for.
- The American dream no longer works.
- The rich in America are getting richer at the expense of the poor and the middle class.
Government policies and tax laws are making the rich much richer at the expense of the middle class. Dr. Ackerman provides detailed research that supports his thoughts on big business, the economy and how these policies are changing life in America.
Knowledge is power. This book provides valuable information and insight.
I have to admit that I am pretty ignorant about the subjects covered in this book. It is just easier not to think about the economy, taxes, the recession..., right?
This short book offers an understandable overview of the economic future of our country. I truly believe that information is power and all Americans should take the time to educate themselves about what is going on.
You can read this book in an hour or so and have a new understanding about the world around you. If you are like me, you will have more questions that will lead to further reading and research. That is a good thing. It is time for Americans to WAKE UP and get a grip on the new reality.
The content in this book is excellent but the editing and formatting for the Kindle edition could use some work.
MY RATING: 4 Stars Out Of 5
