I made this thank-you card this week for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge. The theme of the challenge is "A Bit of Green" ~ The card must have some green on it.
This is how I made the card;
1. I used a pre-made blank light green card. The card measures 4 1/2" X 5 1/2".
2. The background paper is a distressed striped design from K & Company.
3. I cut a large triangle from a piece of "Cool Cantalope" Bazzille Basics cardstock. I used a rubber stamp from Stampin' Up! to stamp the work "thanks".
4. I used the digital image "Chickies" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and a blender pen.
5. I embellished the card with light green polka-dot ribbon. I punched a button from green cardstock with a Martha Stewart punch. I tied a piece of white ribbon through the holes on the button.

A Pig's Pocket
This week the theme of Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge is "pockets". I used the same digi stamp that I used last week ~ "Harry Needs A Hand". The pig that is giving Harry the Mouse a hand happens to have a pocket on his pants.
I used Marvy markers to color the image. I used a Tim Holtz ticket with the word "Love" on it. The cardstock buttons were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
I embellished the tree with some glitter and a gold-colored star.

Harry Needs A Hand
I just made my first handmade greeting card for the 2010 Christmas season. It is a cold, damp day outside and I am really getting into the Christmas spirit. I know the next 6 weeks will pass very quickly so I am getting an early start with my Christmas cards.
I used a digital stamp image from Mo's Digital Stamp Shop named "Harry Needs A Hand". It shows a pig lifting a tiny mouse up to the top of the Christmas tree so he can attach a star. I love the idea of lending a helping hand ~ Isn't this what Christmas is all about? I am sure that a helpful friend is just what Harry was wishing for.
Here are a list of supplies that I used to make this card;
