Sisters Handmade Greeting Card

Sisters: Leaves From the Same Tree.

This is a great image for an Autumn birthday card.

I used the following supplies to make this card;

A blank kraft cardstock card that measures 5" by 6.5".

The brown background paper came from a Tim Holtz paper pad.

I used a stitched heart die to make the bright orange heart.

The digital stamp is "Same Tree" from Mo's Digital Pencil. I colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I like to use these markers for the bright colors and easy use.

I finished this card with some Autumn die cuts from K and Co.

You Are The Apple Of My Eye Handmade Card

It is time for the fall harvest and this little cutie has a basket full of tasty red apples.

I made this card to celebrate an October birthday. I dropped it in the mail this morning.

These are the supplies I used to make the card:

A blank craft cardstock card that measures 5" by 7".

Patterned paper from the "Que Sera Sera" collection by K and Co.

I printed the digital stamp "Apple" from Mo's Digital Pencil on bristol cardstock. I also printed the sentiment that came with the image ..."You are the apple of my eye."

I colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I have the set of 36 markers. I rubbed some blue chalk in the background for the sky.

I cut/embossed the image with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Classic Ovals Die.

I cut/embossed a piece of contrasting patterned paper with the Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Classic Scalloped Ovals Die. I attached the oval to the scalloped oval.

I cut/embossed another piece of contrasting patterned paper with the Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements Floral Ovals Die. I layered this third die cut to the other two and attached it to the card.

I cut/embossed the sentiment with a Spellbinders die and attached it to the card above the image.

I completed the card with a piece of variegated seam binding.

I will enter this card in the following challenges:

Mo's "Anything Goes" Challenge

There is a slight nip in the air and autumn will soon be here. The cool weather inspired me to made this card for Mo's Challenge #151 - "Anything Goes".

This is how I made the card;
(1.) I started with a blank kraft card that measures 4" by 5 1/2".
(2.) I used a piece of burnt orange cardstock for the background and stitched a piece of autumn striped patterned paper to it.
(3.) I used the digital stamp "Scarecrow" from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop.  This is one of the images from Mo's "Wizard of Oz" series. I colored the image with Copic sketch markers and cut it out. I then glued it to the card with Craft Rubber Cement.
(4.) I embellished the card with some "Fall Harvest" die cuts from K & Co.

Pumpkins Handmade Greeting Card

After a long hot summer, it is wonderful to feel a touch of Autumn in the air. The theme for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #105 is "Fave Mo's Image and a Sentiment."
The cool weather inspired me to make a greeting card with an Autumn theme.
This is how I made the card:
(1.) I used a pre-made card for the base. It is cream-colored with light "speckles" and measures 5" by 7".
(2.) I used patterned cardstock from a Martha Stewart Crafts Autumn/Halloween Mat Pad for the background.
(3.) I embellished the card with a piece of vintage orange ribbon (1" wide).
(4.) I used the digital image "Pumpkins" from Mo's Digital Pencil Store. I colored the image with Copics Sketch markers.
(5.) I stamped the following sentiment on the lower portion of the card, "As for me and my HOUSE, We will SERVE the LORD."  Joshua 24:15

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my handmade greeting card.
